本片改編自小說《荒村》，故事講述關智斌飾演的年輕音樂創(chuàng)作人孟凡在數(shù)年前推出成名作之后便無以為繼，陷入創(chuàng)作低迷期，又由于不肯與女友結婚而弄至分手一日，他意外從互網(wǎng)上得知一個神秘的千年古鎮(zhèn)“荒村”，在那里有著金色花海、碧綠竹林的古鎮(zhèn)里，有一個“荒村客?！保鱾髦粋€叫胭脂的古代女人的動人傳說，為了擺脫困境，尋找創(chuàng)作靈感，孟凡來到了這個“荒村客棧”。在這個古老詭異的客棧里，奇怪的事情接踵而至...
